Summer Missions Team 2025
Thank you for taking the time to meet this year's summer mission team! We pray that the Lord will use our team this summer to reach over 1,000 children in North Central Indiana.
Our summer missions outreach does cost approximately $25,000 to operate. It costs approximately $25 to reach one child. Would you prayerfully consider giving to our summer missionaries or giving to our whole team? We will be using your support to purchase gas, food, literature, fair entrance fees, liability insurance, curriculum, prize incentives, flyer printing and distributing, and other missionary expenses.

Payton Burke
Meet Payton. She is excited to work with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for her 3rd year. She has waited for this opportunity to work as a Summer Missionary for a few years now. She accepted Jesus as her Savior on July 14, 2019. Her brother Andrew Burke led her to the Lord when he was a Summer Missionary with CEF. He helped lead her to the Lord one Sunday at church. Since that day she has wanted others to come to know Jesus too. She really exceled last year as a Missionary Assistant and has made the decision to continue as a Summer Missionary so she can tell even more children about how they can be saved as well! Pray for Payton as she continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "My brother Andrew led me to the Lord when he was a summer missionary with CEF... Since that day, I wanted others to come to know Jesus too. I am very happy to share God's Word and love with children in our community and even reach their parents."

Nevaeh Burke
Meet Nevaeh Burke. We are excited to have Nevaeh join Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for her 1st year. She is 12 years old, and she will be working as a Missionary Assistant. She was led to the Lord Jesus Christ by her grandma in July 2022, and since that day has been wanting to tell others about Jesus! Now she gets to teach others about Jesus through the 5-Day Clubs and through the Wordless Book at the County Fairs! Pray for Nevaeh as she continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Missionary Assistant! "My grandma led me to the Lord at her house. Since that day I've wanted to tell others about Him. I'm very excited to share God's Word and love with the children in our community." |

Ragan Roach
Meet Ragan Roach. We are excited to have Ragan join Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for her 2nd year. Ragan is 15 years old, and we met Ragan during one of our Christian Youth in Action presentations (CYIA) last year in Knox, IN. Ragan decided to participate again because of the impact it had on her life last year. Ragan taught a Bible lesson at a VBS last year where a young girl asked her how to accept Jesus as her Savior. The girl came back the next day, and asked Ragan to pray for her parents because they weren't believers. Pray for Ragan as she continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "...Through a Bible lesson I taught, God showed her the truth: that He is real and loves her. After we talked some more about God and what He has done for her, she prayed that Jesus would become the Lord of her life. ... She opened my eyes to see that every child everywhere needs Jesus and what privilege it was that God gave me the opportunity to work with these children."

Olivia Keehn
Meet Olivia Keehn. We are excited to have her join Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for her 2nd year. Olivia is 15 years old and heard about Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) through her friend Ragan. She works in the children's ministry at her church and realized that this training would benefit her and her church. She shared with us that her purpose for participating in the summer mission's outreach this summer is to fulfil the Great Commission given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. Teaching you all I have commanded." She wants to share the gospel with children and show them Jesus Christ, and how much He cares and loves them. Pray for Olivia as she continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "One of my favorite memories from last year was getting to teach the bible lessons and then counseling children for salvation!"

Connor Keehn
Meet Connor Keehn. Connor is 13 years old, and we are excited to have him join Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for his 2nd year. Connor heard about Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) through his sister Olivia and his parents. Connor helps in Sunday School at his church and with Kid's Closet. He shared with us that his purpose for participating in the summer mission's outreach this summer is to become an evangelist! Pray for Connor as he continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "I wanted to do CYIA because the Bible tells us to go and make disciples. I did it last year and it was a lot of fun plus I made a lot of friends."

Gabriel Keehn
Meet Gabriel Keehn. Gabriel is 12 years old, and we are excited to have him join Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for his 1st year. Gabriel heard about Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) through his sister Olivia and his parents. Gabriel believes in the Great Commission given to us by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20, to "go and make disciples," and he wants to do just that! He wants to teach kids about Christ! Pray for Gabriel as he continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Missionary Assistant! "Matthew 28:18-20 says, 'go and make disciples;' and I want to show kids Jesus Christ. My sister Olivia participated in this outreach last summer and shared with he how I could do it too." |

Sarah Rueck
Meet Sarah Rueck. We are excited to have her join Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for the 2nd year. Sarah is 18 years old and heard about Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) through a presentation our local director gave at her co-op group. Her parents have also been involved with CEF oversees in the past and were Summer Missionaries as teens themselves! Sarah trusted Jesus as her Savior in 2020 when she realized that salvation is through faith, not by works. Until then she had been trying to work for her salvation. Since then, she has wanted to share Jesus with others but didn't know how until she attended CYIA last year. Now she is excited to see what God has in store for her this year! Pray for Sarah as she continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "Last year, I learned how [to share Jesus] through CEF's Christian Youth In Action training. That was an experience I will never forget. It was awe-inspiring to see God touch the hearts of broken children in my community."

Cain Westley Kulwicki
Meet Cain Westley Kulwicki. Cain is 14 years old, and this is his 1st year with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Cain is excited to join CEF to learn how to teach children about Jesus. Cain wants to become a Pastor! He believes this would be a good opportunity to receive training to pursue that calling and to live out his salvation! Because of what the Bible says in Philippians 1:21, "For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain," Cain wants to live his salvation in Christ as a Summer Missionary teaching others about Christ! Pray for Cain as he continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "I have been called by God to be a pastor, and I think this would be a good opportunity to receive training to pursue that calling. I also believe that this would be a good way for me to live out the salvation I have in Jesus Christ."

Grace Edmonson
Meet Grace. Grace is 17 years old, and this is her 1st year with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Grace is excited to join CEF to learn how to teach children about Jesus. Grace first learned about CYIA three years ago when our Local Director Crystal King shared the opportunity with her youth group. She wanted to go then but was unable to due to transportation. This year, the Ministry Coordinator, Kailiana Siebert-King shared with them the opportunity, and now that Grace has her driver's license, she is able to go! Grace wants to be an evangelist! Pray for Grace as she continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "I want to get better at evangelism and believe this will help me do that"

Madison Hochstetler
Meet Madison. Madison is 14 years old, and this is her 1st year with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). She is excited to join CEF to learn how to teach children about Jesus. Madison came to Christ when she was about 6 years old through a Bible study course in the mail called Mailbox Club. Now that she is older, she would like to help young kids have the same feelings and opportunities that she has had because of Jesus. Pray for Madison as she continues to follow the Lord's leading to serve with our chapter this summer as a Summer Missionary! "Psalms 96:3 says, 'tell everyone about the amazing things He does.' I want to let kids know about Jesus Christ and the amazing things He does.
