I Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise thy youth;
but be thou an example of the believers,
in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Kailiana Marie King
Meet Kailiana M. King. Kaili has served as a summer missionary for the past 8 years. She began as an assistant summer missionary, moved up to summer missionary, then became an advanced missionary, and last year was our chapter's summer coordinator. This year for all the work she has done, she was chosen for the the leadership role as the Dean of Women at CYIA. What this means Kaili and the Assistant Dean of Women, oversaw all things teen girl related at CYIA. For example, they will be the on-site nurse for the girls, praying for them, conducting room checks, and mentoring them. Her prayer is to help these girls to grow in their walk with the Lord and to help them to grow into future leaders of the church. She also has been asked to be a summer coordinator for our chapter this year and possibly be a traveling missionary for the state. The details are being worked out for these opportunities right now. Bradyn King
Meet Bradyn King. He has decided to participate in CYIA again this year, making it his 4th year returning. This will be his 2nd year as serving as a summer missionary. He will be learning how to lead children to the Lord and how to teach full bible lessons. He wants to be a missionary because his mother is the local director of North Central Indiana, and he believes that serving the Lord would be a great way to grow in his walk with the Lord. Selina Saing
Meet Selina Saing. Selina is a student at Grace College and is here studying early childhood development with the intentions of going back home to Cambodia to become a teacher. She was originally going to go home for the summer, but her plans fell through. She learned about CEF the 2nd week of June and promptly visited a 5-Day Club. Selina has a passion for children’s ministry and after visiting one 5-Day Club, she felt the Lord calling her to be a summer missionary with our chapter! |
Eric Burke
Meet Eric Burke. He is 17 years old this will be his third year of serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship in our Summer Mission's Outreach. He is very excited about the opportunity to teach little ones once again about Jesus and his love. Over the last three years, he has been able to witness many children making a decision to accept Jesus as their Savior. He believed in Jesus himself in the year 2020, and since then he has wanted others to know how Jesus can be their Savior, too. Payton Burke
Meet Payton. She is excited to work this year with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). She has waited for this opportunity to work as a summer missionary for a few years now. She accepted Jesus as her Savior on July 14, 2019. Her brother, Andrew Burke, led her to the Lord when he was a summer missionary with CEF himself. He helped lead her to the Lord one Sunday at church. Since that day she has wanted others to come to know Jesus, too. Now that she is 12 years old, her time has come to share God's word and love with the children in our community and even with their parents. She is finally old enough to work for CEF and teach in the 5-day Clubs. This summer, she is excited to be able to tell kids about Jesus! Kaydence King
